Figure out how to enter the ruins

I have moved the pillars with the light to the position where they are shining the light on the two symbols that are highlighted on the main door. Nothing is happening though. The door isn’t unlocking even though the symbols have been highlighted.

Edit: this is for the golden snidgets side quest.

You need to make sure you have the correct icon. I got caught here too. There are 2 icons that look like a sort of key. One of them has a dot in the middle and the other does not. I’d you look closely at the door, it shows that the key with the dot is highlighted. Make sure you have the correct one highlighted.
