I’ve been away from the game for almost two years, and coming back feels really overwhelming since so much has changed. I’m open to leveling a new character to catch up, but I’m unsure if it’s worth it. I also want to know if I’ve completed all the campaign quests necessary to unlock delves and what I should focus on next. Does anyone have recommendations for websites that can analyze my character’s progression and advise on what to do next? Or should I just wait for the next expansion to enjoy my Warlock gameplay? Thanks for any help!

This pre-patch isn’t a big deal. The major update will come later, so if you keep playing, you can gear up pretty fast then. You’ll find your rhythm again soon enough, just enjoy the process!
You unlock Delves pretty early in your questing, so no need to stress! It sounds overwhelming, but a lot of it is familiar. Just focus on leveling a new toon through Dragonflight to get back into the groove. Once you hit 70, dive into TWW and enjoy dungeons. It’s really fun and you’ll pick up everything again in no time!
I totally get that feeling! Coming back after missing events can be tough. But honestly, take the chance to explore what you missed! My friend came back after a long break and got super into the lore. Embrace the journey, and just have fun with it!
Honestly, if you’ve been away for two years, most of the core gameplay hasn’t changed besides the new expansion. The big talent revamp is something to adjust to, but it’s actually pretty streamlined right now. You could comfortably jump back in and start leveling from 1 to 70 in the Dragon Isles, then head straight to the new expansion. Delves are new but pretty self-explanatory. It’s not as complicated as you might think!
I totally agree! It’s nice to see WoW in a more streamlined state after all the complexity in past expansions.

Exactly! It’s an MMO for a reason—there’s always something to discover and enjoy.
