I recently made the switch from Nvidia to AMD, but now I’m experiencing some strange issues where all my games feel delayed or off in some way. This is my first time using an AMD GPU, so I’m wondering if there are specific settings I might have enabled that I shouldn’t have. Any advice on what to check?

It sounds like there might be something off with your setup. Just out of curiosity, what AMD model are you using? Knowing that could really help figure this out.
First things first, did you use DDU to completely remove the Nvidia drivers before installing the AMD ones? That’s really important to avoid conflicts, especially since you’re coming from Nvidia.
Yeah, I did use DDU to remove the Nvidia drivers. I also used my integrated GPU before—should I run DDU for that as well?
That definitely shouldn’t be happening. Make sure you don’t have any upscaling or frame generation features turned on in your settings. Those can add latency if they weren’t enabled before your switch.
I double-checked, and both options are disabled in the AMD control panel. What else should I look into?
It’s the RX 7900 XT.
