Hey fellow Tenno! I’m fairly new to Warframe (currently MR4), and I’m finding the game a bit overwhelming at times. I’m trying to progress through the main story quests since constantly replaying planet nodes has started to bore me. However, I keep dying a lot while exploring the Cambion Drift, which leads me back to leveling up. Unfortunately, the only options for low-level players seem to be high-level activities or the repetitive planet nodes, which are all the same short missions over and over. Am I the only one who feels this way, or is the game design a bit off for newcomers?

The missions might seem similar because they involve a lot of shooting, but the objectives can vary. And remember, leveling up your weapons doesn’t directly increase their stats—mod capacity matters most. What loadouts are you running right now?
My advice? Make your experience enjoyable by crafting weapons you like. If you’re struggling to build something, just look up where the resources are! Warframe is all about creating your own fun and setting your own goals.
Be sure to utilize mods! They can significantly enhance your loadouts and come from various sources like normal missions, bounties, or after clearing junctions to new planets.
You don’t actually need to clear every planet node before moving on! It typically takes about five missions to reach the next planet, so feel free to skip some if you’re just looking to progress.
Honestly, if you get bored easily with repetition, Warframe might not be your cup of tea. The game’s variety doesn’t come from mission types, but from the tons of goals you can chase and the different methods to achieve them.
