Hey everyone! I just found out that my guild, which I’ve been a part of for 20 years, has officially disbanded. We’ve been losing members since Shadowlands, but today it really hit me hard. It feels like losing a close friend or getting laid off from a job you actually loved. This guild was my safe haven during tough times and helped me through my job loss. Has anyone else experienced this? How did you cope? I’m at a bit of a loss here and would really appreciate any tips or stories you want to share. Thanks!

I totally feel you on this. I’ve been in a similar situation; even if a guild disbands, the friendships don’t just disappear. I still keep in touch with folks from a guild that disbanded almost ten years ago—we just play under different banners now. It’s actually a great chance to meet new people while holding onto those old friendships. You might discover a new community that’s just as welcoming!
Absolutely! Connecting with former guildies can open up new doorways to different guilds and experiences. It’s sad to lose the original home, but think of it like leveling up; new opportunities await!
