I am at a locked door with a blue eye above it. The hint says that it will look at the tip of a point but doesn’t suggest how to actually interact with it in order to open the door.

I’d you stand on the platform across from the eye, you will see it stares at your sword. If you spin your arm around in circles, you will find that the eye will follow it.
Keep spinning your arm around and the eye will get dizzy and fall off. You can then go through the door.
