I’ve been dealing with stick drift issues on my PS5 DualSense controllers, and it’s really frustrating! All four of mine have started drifting, and I’ve never had this problem with Xbox controllers. I jumped on the PS5 bandwagon when it came out, but now I’m seriously considering switching back. With the drift causing issues in gameplay, it feels like I’m either going to have to pay for repairs or shell out for new controllers. Is this a widespread problem, or is Sony aware of it and just letting it slide to boost their profits? Is there a way we can get together and start a petition or something to address this?

If you’re dealing with stick drift and don’t want to feed Sony’s profit margins, hit me up! I can install TMR sticks on your controllers for a reasonable price, plus I offer discounts if you bring in multiple controllers. Let’s fix those drifts without emptying our wallets!
I have to question that, though. Four controllers? So that’s at least one a year, which makes me think there’s some user error involved. Can’t just blame the hardware all the time!
I’ve been through 9 controllers myself. Each one lasted about six months, but I’ve probably abused them a bit. Don’t drop them, or you’ll definitely run into issues!
Honestly, at that rate, it sounds like user error. If you’re going through them so fast, you’ve gotta reconsider how you’re handling them!
I’m in Canada and Sony wouldn’t repair my controller because it was out of warranty. I even offered to pay for the repair, but they said they don’t do repairs on out-of-warranty controllers. Their solution was just for me to buy a new one! What a joke! This was over a year ago, and I’m still frustrated about it.
Don’t drop them? Sounds like you’re just rough with your gear, man. If you’re on controller number 9, maybe it’s not just bad luck!
