Hey everyone! I’m having some serious issues with lagging while playing Warframe on my new PC that my roommate built for me. Everything was working great at first, but recently I’ve noticed the lag gets really bad, especially when I load up Warframe. I’ve already tried resetting the PC, deleting all the game data, and completely redownloading it from Steam, but nothing seems to change. Is there anyone here who plays on PC who could help me troubleshoot this?

It might be worth checking your graphic settings in Warframe. Even though the game is optimized, some settings can still tank performance, especially if you have those crazy particle effects turned up. Also, remember that when you download Warframe on a new PC, all settings revert to default, which often defaults to high or ultra—definitely tweak those!
It could be that your cooling system wasn’t plugged in properly when you built your PC. Overheating can definitely cause lag, so make sure everything is snug and running cool.
Do you know the specs of your PC? It would really help to know what graphics card and CPU you’re running. You can find this info in the ‘About’ section of your system settings. Knowing these details could help pinpoint the lag issue.
I have a Quick 319 7800xt with 16GB of video memory and 32GB RAM powered by a Ryzen 5 7600 processor. The cooling seems fine; air-cooling and all fans are working. Everything else runs smoothly except for Warframe since I installed Epic Games. I’ve even reinstalled Windows 11 and the drivers.
I’ve tried adjusting resolution too, and while lower settings do help with performance, it makes the graphics look rough, haha. I’m not sure if it’s the PC or the games causing these problems since everything was fine before.
