Hey everyone! I recently upgraded to a new processor (i5-13600KF) a few days ago, and now I’m noticing some serious FPS drops while playing games—my framerate drops to about 10 and then bounces back, only to drop again shortly after. I’ve tried a ton of different fixes, but nothing seems to work. I’m starting to suspect my motherboard, which is a Biostar H610MHP. Also, I’ve noticed that my power usage is capped around 120 watts. When I ran Cinebench 2024, my multi-core score was only 500, while I expected it to be around 1000, and it really only consumed about 20 watts during the benchmark. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried checking the VRM temperatures using HWInfo? With that new CPU, the VRM might be overheating, which could cause performance issues. It’s a good idea to keep an eye on all the temps and see if anything’s reaching dangerous levels or throttling your performance. Let me know if you find anything suspicious!
I actually just checked and they seem fine! Should I be looking at other components too?
