Hey everyone! I’m a big fan of collecting physical editions of games, and I’m really interested in trying out Baldur’s Gate 3. I noticed that there’s no standard physical version available, just the deluxe edition from the Larian site. Unfortunately, I’m located in Europe, and the shipping fees are pretty steep. I came across some Japanese physical copies on eBay, but I’m curious whether they would even work in Europe and if they have EU languages like Italian. If I end up needing to go digital, I’d also appreciate any recommendations for fair-priced online keys for PS5. Thanks a bunch!

Honestly, just buy the digital version if you’re impatient. I get wanting physical, but digital is way easier and there’s less hassle with shipping. Plus, if you’re really into the game, the deluxe version is worth it, and it lets you access content without having to deal with that Japanese version.
It looks like the only physical version of BG3 that’s available outside the deluxe edition is the censored Japanese version. Just a heads up, it could be a letdown because it’s heavily edited, so it might not be worth the purchase. I originally bought the digital edition on PS5 and later ended up getting the deluxe physical edition because I loved it so much. The game’s been great about giving free updates, so if you do decide to go digital, keep an eye out for sales – it usually goes for about 20% off a few times a year!
That makes sense! I just want to support the developers too, and I totally get the excitement for physical copies.
I hear you! Digital does sound convenient, but I just love having that physical collection!
