So, I’m starting to think that Sleight of Hand doesn’t really deserve to be at the bottom of the perk tier list. It was originally introduced as an exclusive perk for the Vow of the Disciple Raid, alongside Bait & Switch, but it seems like it was so poorly received that it didn’t even make it into Forbearance’s BRAVE reprise. I think it would be great if they could rework or buff it without just turning it into a clone of Envious Arsenal. Here’s a thought I had for a potential rework: what if this perk allowed the weapon to swap out faster when the magazine is full, and stow faster when it’s empty? Plus, while stowed, final blows or precision hits could gradually reload the magazine from reserves. What do you all think?

Honestly, I barely remember that this perk even exists! It seems like a lot of players have forgotten about it too. A rework would definitely make it more relevant for the game.
Same here, I thought this was an outdated discussion at first.
I really think the perk needs a complete overhaul. In PvE, it’s competing against some top-tier perks, and for PvP, why even bother with it when you have options like Closing Time or Threat Detector that don’t rely on getting kills? It’s not great for PC players either since stability isn’t really an issue for mouse users.
Right! I’ve been trying to use Deliverance with Sleight of Hand, but it just isn’t cutting it.
There’s potential here! I think if Sleight of Hand allowed for building damage stacks while stowed and gave a significant boost on the first shot drawn, it could really fit that ‘sleight of hand’ vibe. Something like a budget version of Lucky Pants could spice things up!
Isn’t that already kinda what Recombination does?
But it would be cool to see something unique for Sleight of Hand!
You’re right, Bait and Switch was improved after its rocky launch, but Sleight of Hand has just been neglected. I mean, other perks like Recombination and Chaos Reshaped have been getting some love while Sleight of Hand is just that forgotten raid perk with no updates. It’s like people don’t even notice it’s still tied to the Vow weapons.
Yeah, I think that perk was only found on Leviathan weapons initially, right?
And now it seems like even Chaos Reshaped is only showing up on specific weapons! It’s hard to keep track.
It’s a shame because I was hoping it would actually be useful, especially if it ended up on the Pale Heart weapons!
