Hey everyone! I’m curious if there are any plans to support AutoHDR on Linux, specifically for KDE. Has anyone heard anything about this?

So, when you mention that Linux maps SDR to HDR with a gamma 2.2 curve, does that mean it replicates the AutoHDR feature like found in Windows games?
Wait a minute, is that how inverse tone mapping works? Just curious if there’s more detail on that process!
There’s actually no need for AutoHDR in Linux! The platform already does a great job mapping SDR content to HDR using a gamma 2.2 curve, which some users even find better than Windows’ approach. If you’re looking to upgrade your games to HDR, you might want to check out a RenoDX mod that enhances or adds proper HDR support.
