Hey everyone! I’m getting back into the game after a long break and I’ve got a decent PC to work with now. My old build kept failing, so I’m looking to put together a new one that can help me find those legendary items quickly. I’ve heard some chatter about the Luck stat, and I’m curious—does having a high Luck level actually help increase the chance of encountering legendary opponents?

Unfortunately, pumping up your Luck won’t enhance your odds of facing more legendary opponents. The drop rates for legendary gear are pretty much set, with a flat 1% chance to get a legendary prefix each time you scrap an item, and a 1.5% chance for a loose mod. So, while Luck affects some aspects, legendary spawns aren’t one of them.
If you’re aiming to spawn more legendary enemies for events, just focus on completing the event tasks. For example, destroying meat bags during the Eviction Notice event or gathering ore during the Radiation Rumble will increase the legendary spawn rate!
You should double-check your perk cards! Some have shuffled around since your last play. Perks based on Luck can definitely trigger more often with a decent Luck stat, but they won’t generate more enemies. Also, look out for the 4* Sawbones armor mods—they’re great for health regeneration!
Nah, Luck isn’t the magic bullet for getting legendary enemies. But don’t worry, the game throws legendary items at you all the time now. You can snag a good haul just by fishing and redeeming the fish bits!
Yeah, fishing is the way to go now!
Totally! I’ve been fishing like crazy and scored a bunch of legendary items that way.
