Hey everyone! 😊 I just picked up the twin pack of Final Fantasy VII Remake for PC and started diving into Remake. I’m really enjoying the experience and can’t wait to play through both titles! However, I’ve noticed that the graphics appear a bit blurry on my 1440p 27″ OLED display. I suspect it might be related to TAA. Since Rebirth will be utilizing DLSS and DLAA, I’m curious if anyone with an Nvidia card has observed if DLAA in Rebirth looks sharper at 1440p compared to how Remake did. Thanks in advance for any insights!

Yeah, I noticed a definite upgrade with DLAA in Rebirth compared to TAA. It helps a lot with clarity, especially at 1440p. But just remember that certain effects may still look a bit off without the higher resolution. A smoother experience is worth it, though!
I’d say DLAA in Rebirth is definitely an improvement over the TAA you see in Remake. While it’s not perfect, the sharpness is better for sure! Just keep in mind some graphical effects, like hair, really shine at higher resolutions regardless of the anti-aliasing method you use. If you have the power to spare, using DLDSR to push the game to 4K and then scaling back to 1440p can make a big difference, though it’s pretty demanding on the card.
