With Bluesky gaining traction as a popular alternative to Twitter/X, is there a chance we can convince Nintendo to join this platform? While they mainly use Twitter/X for their communications, they also have an underused Instagram account. With many users moving to Bluesky and some other Japanese gaming companies already there, like Capcom and Taito, it seems plausible that Nintendo might eventually consider it, especially as the environment on Twitter/X becomes more toxic. However, it’s unclear how we might effectively urge them to make this shift since Nintendo doesn’t have a clear way for fans to provide feedback about social media changes.

Honestly, I doubt anyone can pressure Nintendo to change platforms. They usually make decisions based on their own market research rather than on what fans shout on social media. Although, I do think it would be great for them to relocate to Bluesky. Twitter is a total mess right now, and having an official presence on a cleaner platform would be a win for everyone. Just wish they’d make the move already!
While it would be nice for Nintendo to move to Bluesky, I just don’t see it happening soon. They have a perfectly functioning presence on Twitter, and honestly, every platform has its issues. At this point, it seems like no matter where they go, they’ll face some negativity. Plus, fans pushing for things rarely changes corporate paths. It’s best to let them operate and focus on delivering great games, regardless of the platform.
Totally! Most platforms have their fair share of drama. As long as they’re sharing news and games, I think we should just enjoy what’s presented.
I feel like Nintendo might consider jumping to Bluesky when they launch the Switch 2. It could be a nice, fresh start for their social media presence and a way to connect with fans on a new platform.
That makes a lot of sense! New system, new vibes. It’ll definitely give them a good reason to transition.
Agreed! But I wish they’d prioritize an official account. The unofficial stuff is okay, but nothing beats the real deal from Nintendo.
