I’ve been wondering if I’m the only one who pretty much plays Onslaught just to complete missions. I’ve achieved a 3k wn8 before and I know I could climb higher, but honestly, the toxicity in this mode makes it hard to enjoy. It feels like nobody is really having fun, yet everyone keeps playing. What’s your take on this? Do you participate in Onslaught, and if so, why?

Climbing higher does help! The game gets more tactical as players improve. I think it’s a real challenge, and I would jump in more often if it were a permanent mode. Just wish there wasn’t that initial rush to rank up—it impacts the experience.
Honestly, I bet a lot of players are just in it for the missions. It’s a common sentiment each season. My goal is to complete all the missions and finish in gold. If I secure my gold rank, I might play more for fun instead of just grinding. Last few seasons, I managed about 200 battles each, which felt balanced.
Same here! Just focusing on missions usually gets me to gold with little hassle.
I’m in the same boat! I’ve already completed my goals and got my KPZ and 1B, so I’m pretty content just sticking to missions for now.
I had a rough experience in my placements. I saw a teammate in a S. Conq just sitting there, scared to engage while we got crushed. That’s when I decided I’d only focus on missions moving forward unless it improves.
I’m all about those bonds! I like how quick and intense the matches are, plus it feels like you earn credits faster than in randoms.
Totally get that! It’s tough when you need to rush just to have better games. It makes the whole experience feel rushed.
