Do You Lose EXP When You Die?

-

When you have saved up a lot of exp, it’s often a waste to sleep at a campsite and get no bonus exp. On the other side, if it’s the only place to sleep you may die if you don’t. Do you lose all exp when you die in Final Fantasy 15?

Final Fantasy 15 does not have a Dark Souls style exp system. When you die it’s game over and you reload a past save/checkpoint. Once you reload, all exp you had when the same was made will have been preserved. This means you can save before a tough battle and if you die it’s no big deal. Never worry about the risk of death so long as you save the game often.
