I know it sounds a bit over the top, but I honestly feel a weird kind of anxiety when I have too many games installed on Steam. I have a ton of games, and keeping them all installed gives me this restless feeling, even though I could easily reinstall any game I want in just a few minutes thanks to fast internet. It’s only when I get totally hooked on one game that I forget about the rest. Has anyone else experienced this? How do you deal with it?

Nah, I don’t stress about it. I keep about 186 games installed, and that’s including 5 or so that aren’t on Steam. If I want to play something, I just pick one and go for it!
I feel you! I’ve got around 60 games installed and just play whatever I feel like at the moment. It doesn’t bother me if some games sit idle for a while. After all, they don’t have feelings, right? :-D
Honestly, I just install the games that I’m currently interested in playing. With the massive sizes these days, I recently upgraded to a 2TB drive, and it’s made things easier. Now I can keep a bunch installed without worrying too much.
I get what you’re saying; it’s kind of a weird situation. I end up installing tons of games, then don’t play them and repeat the cycle. I do have plenty of space on my 2TB drive, so that’s not the issue. It feels like some kind of choice paralysis, and I can’t explain why it hits me and not others.
Yeah, it’s probably that choice overload thing. I wonder why that affects some of us but not everyone.
I don’t go overboard; I only keep a handful installed at a time that I actually plan to play.
Haha, true! But I like to think poor Terraria is sitting there sad because I haven’t played it in years!
