I’m curious about how others handle their gaming time. Personally, I usually stick to one main game at a time because I feel like playing multiple games at once doesn’t allow me to fully invest myself in any of them. I often have a backup game, something simpler like Call of Duty or Diablo, just in case I want to switch it up. How do you guys manage your gaming sessions? Do you prefer to dive deep into one game, or do you find joy in playing several at once?

I totally agree with you! I prefer focusing on one game at a time because it really lets me immerse myself. However, I’ve seen some folks who juggle multiple games to make the most of their limited free time. For me, I just can’t concentrate with multiple games; I need one to really capture my attention. I also love roguelikes in between my main games for quick, unpredictable fun!
I always play one game at a time, whether it’s a game, book, or show. Trying to manage too many games stresses me out and makes them feel like chores. Sticking with one lets me really enjoy it without feeling overwhelmed!
Right? It’s the worst when it starts feeling like a chore! I had a tough time finishing Lords of the Fallen because of that.
I usually manage two games: one strategy management and one that’s more action-packed. It helps keep things fresh and balanced! Plus, when I’m feeling tired, I want my brain to do less thinking, which is why my main game is always something less intense or story-rich.
That’s just like me! I love mixing my genres, keeps gameplay exciting!
Man, I can’t handle more than one game at a time! I barely keep track of the controls of the single game I’m playing, let alone if I had a couple going on simultaneously. With my busy schedule, it’s all about finding that one game I can commit to, and that’s enough of a challenge! It’s tough remembering all the combos after a break, too!
Haha, same! I was playing Ghost of Tsushima and Spider-Man: Miles Morales together, and it felt so weird switching between them!
What roguelikes do you usually play? I’m curious to give one a shot!
