Do You Avoid Killing Animals in Games Too?

-

I’m curious if anyone else feels the same way about not wanting to kill animals in games. Personally, I refuse to harm harmless creatures like opossums, cats, frogs, foxes, and even radstags unless they attack me first. I just can’t bring myself to do it! These creatures are trying to survive in a tough wasteland, you know? I really wish I didn’t have to hurt dogs and wolves either.

I feel you! I hate when I have a challenge that requires killing Brahmin. It’s like, come on! They’re just munching grass minding their own business. Sometimes I just reroll those quests out of principle.

NukesForDays -

I do the same! I can’t bring myself to hurt them without a solid reason.

JustAnotherNoob -

Right? They’re like the gentle giants of the game!

TheFriendlyGhoul -

I usually don’t mess with anything that doesn’t threaten me. Plus, I feel really bad if I accidentally hurt them while doing something else. But events like Fasnacht are a real struggle for me.

SneakySquirrel -

Yeah, Fasnacht is rough! I usually aim for the hostile ones anyway.

Cpl_Scavenger -

Exactly! I just want to peacefully coexist with the cute ones!

WildLifeKeeper2 -

I won’t attack non-hostile animals either. I really wish I could just create a sanctuary in-game for all the critters and keep them safe. They deserve it!

TreeHugger99 -

That would be an amazing addition to the game! Imagine having a conservation area!

CraftyBuilder91 -

Let’s make a Minecraft world and do it there for real!

WastelandChef -

Honestly, I just focus on what’s necessary for survival. If it’s not trying to bite my face off, I generally let it go. But yeah, if they set off my VATS, all bets are off!

MeatLover47 -

Haha, same! But I’ll take my time with the cuter ones.

RageQuitterXD -

Right? If it’s got a health bar, it’s getting taken down, except for cats!

SlickSniperX -

I totally get that! I refuse to kill sloths too. They’re just chilling in the game and I wave at them to say hi instead. I feel bad if they end up attacking me though; it’s just messy!

FluffyBear789 -

Same here! I love sloths, I can’t bring myself to harm them even if they’re hostile.

ZombieRaider94 -

Haha yes! I always let them be unless it’s for a quest.
