I’m trying to track down the last six collectibles I need for the title, and I’ve heard a lot of chatter about chess pieces lately. Can anyone confirm if these pieces actually contribute to unlocking the title, or are they just a side quest?

Absolutely, the chess pieces do count towards your collectible total! If you’re curious, there’s even a Reddit post with all their locations that can help you out. I had 44 out of 50 and found the last few in places like Zavala’s office and the hidden room in the Tower. Once I got them, it unlocked my title and a few extra triumphs too!
Yep, those chess pieces are definitely part of the collectibles you need! Just a heads up, the ones you grab from the Path of Ambition or Resolve drops don’t count toward the title. You need to interact with and pick up the ones scattered around.
Yes, they totally count! Just keep an eye on your radar when you’re exploring the nether, Court of Blades, or Eris’ house. The collectibles will show up there, so it’s much easier to track them down.
