I’ve been replaying Assassin’s Creed 2 and absolutely love the armor upgrade system. You can purchase and enhance different parts of your outfit, which really adds to the sense of progression. Most other games just let you acquire complete outfits and armor sets, so this unique system feels refreshing. I’ve only played up to AC3 and I’m considering diving into Black Flag next. Do the later games continue with this cool upgrade mechanic?

For sure, the armor upgrade system is maintained in different forms. Black Flag allows for some visual changes during specific missions, while in Origins, you can upgrade individual pieces of gear, and those changes are visually noticeable too. Valhalla also carries on this upgrade mechanic, but Unity strays a bit from it, though it maintains a similar design style.
Absolutely! In Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations, you can upgrade your gear much like you can in AC2. It’s a consistent feature in those titles, adding a neat depth to character customization.
That’s interesting! I’ve heard Unity doesn’t quite follow the same model, but if it has a unified design, that could work.
