I’m still pretty new to the game, but I’ve heard about these magical eyes you can get, specifically from Volo and the hag. I really like the way I’ve designed my character, and I’m concerned about whether using these eyes will alter their appearance. Can anyone clarify if getting the eye from Volo or the hag changes your character’s eye look?

Yeah, both magical eyes do change your character’s appearance. When you get the eye from Volo, it turns into a grey eye, and the hag gives you a glowing eye. Just a heads up though, you might want to think twice before making a deal with a hag.
For Volo’s eye, it becomes a pale blue. If you already set your character’s eye color to that shade of blue, it’s actually really hard to notice much difference.
Volo’s eye ends up being blue with a bit of gold around the pupil, which can look cool, especially if your character has blue eyes. It’s not super obvious unless you look closely.
