I got two controllers for Christmas with my PS5; one came with the console and the other I bought separately. Unfortunately, both are having issues—one has serious left stick drift and the other has a broken audio jack. I’m wondering if I need to send in the PS5 along with the controllers for replacement or if it would be easier just to get them repaired separately. Any advice?

Don’t forget about the warranty! It usually covers defects for a certain period of time. Check your paperwork, and you should be good to go without sending in your PS5!
If your controllers are covered by warranty, contact Sony for sure. You typically don’t need to send the PS5 back; the controllers should be enough. Just let them know that one of them was included with the console so they’re aware of your situation.
I agree! Just make sure to have all your receipts handy when you reach out.
Definitely reach out to Sony about this! If both controllers are under warranty, they can guide you through the replacement process. Usually, you won’t need to send the PS5 in, especially if the controllers are being handled separately. Just be clear about which controller came with the console when you contact them.
Yeah, that sounds right! As long as the warranty is valid, they should sort it out for you without taking your whole setup.
Yes, I can confirm they’re under warranty, but I’m specifically wondering about needing to send the PS5 back since one controller came with it.
