I just bought a prebuilt PC and I’m wondering if doing a factory reset will be enough to get rid of all the bloatware that came with it. I don’t currently have a USB drive or anything that can help me reinstall Windows. Will a factory reset suffice, or do I need to go out and purchase a USB to perform a clean installation?

Good luck! I usually just use a Windows disk for this, seems easiest.
Just do a Windows fresh start; it’s available for both Windows 10 and 11. I used it on a corporate laptop once, and it worked like a charm!
You can actually create your own Windows USB installer for free! If your license was linked to your Microsoft account, just reinstall Windows and sign in to get your license back.
I recommend doing a fresh Windows install if you really want to get rid of all the bloatware. It’s easier than it sounds! Just make sure you have a USB for it, though.
Nah, factory reset won’t cut it. It’ll just reinstall all the junk that came with it. Grab a USB drive and do a clean Windows install instead for the best results.
I don’t have a USB or anything to install Windows on.
