Hey everyone! So, I’m getting back into Minecraft after a long break, and I’m trying to figure out how to use shaders. I downloaded a shader from MCPEDL, but it doesn’t seem to work. Do I need to buy Minecraft from the Play Store to get shaders running? Just want to make sure I’m on the right track! (P.S. Sorry if my grammar is a bit off; I’m struggling in my English class.)

Actually, Minecraft Bedrock Edition doesn’t come with shader support out of the box. You’ll need a patched version to get them working. Check out some tutorials on YouTube for the best options to install and run shaders properly!

Just to clarify, there are some beta versions that might also work for shaders, but it’s safer to stick with a well-known patched version for the best experience. I’d recommend looking for one that has good reviews!
