I just built a new PC, but it only came with two fans—one at the front and one at the back. I also have a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE CPU cooler installed. Should I consider getting more fans, and if so, will I need additional connection wires since my motherboard only has two spots for fans?

Just test it out first! Check if your CPU and GPU temperatures are within the safe range. If they’re running hot, then it’s time to add more fans.
I’d go for adding two more fans personally. You can grab some fan splitters to connect four fans to those two motherboard headers. It’ll definitely help keep things cooler and quieter!
Two fans should be fine unless your room gets super hot in summer. I was in the same boat, thinking about adding more, but opted for a new case with five fans included, which didn’t cost much more. Totally worth it!
It really depends on your setup. If your components aren’t generating a lot of heat, two fans usually get the job done. But if you want a quieter experience, adding more fans can help. You can run them slower while still getting good airflow, which can reduce noise levels.
