Hey everyone! I’ve unlocked my skyscale and currently can only use it in certain areas. I own every expansion up to Secrets of the Obscure (SotO), and I’m just starting on the Secrets content. My question is this: if I complete the achievements in Secrets and unlock the skyscale for all zones, will that automatically let me unlock the mastery track in Path of Fire (PoF)? Or do I need to finish the Living World achievements to gain access to that mastery track? I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth the grind of completing both Living World and Secrets content, or if just Secrets will suffice. I’m a bit worried that the masteries might be locked behind achievements, and I want to avoid any roadblocks. Also, are the PoF masteries important if I already have the Secrets ones maxed out?

Go for the Living World Season 4 route! That way you can unlock both mastery tracks and gain benefits from each. If you chose to focus on just the SotO skyscale, you’d miss out on the PoF masteries, and that would just create extra work down the line.
You have to do the unlocks in Season 4 as well as have SotO to train those masteries. But if you start with Season 4, you won’t need to complete the quests in SotO to access the benefits. So it’s a bit of a trade-off depending on how much time you want to invest.
Honestly, if you want to use the skyscale to its full potential, doing the living world Season 4 path is the better route. Just getting the mount isn’t worth all the effort unless you really grind for that extra wall climb skill. However, depending on if you like the look of specific skyscales like the Kryptis, you might end up wanting to do SotO for that too.
To fully unlock the skyscale, you’ll need to complete the entire collection in Season 4. This includes both mastery tracks, which offer some nice bonuses. So yes, you’ll want to do both tracks to really make the most of your skyscale!
Also, remember that for one of the legendary accessories, you will need the PoF masteries!
Right! And if you’re leaning towards just the skyscale mount, definitely consider which visuals you prefer.
