I’m looking to get my hands on a 9070 XT when it launches because I’ve heard that prices might spike in April. With NVIDIA’s 50 series cards hard to find close to MSRP, I expect the demand for the 9070 XT to be really high. I’m a bit anxious about missing out and I live in the EU. Do you think using a bot would be necessary to secure one?

Getting the 9070 XT on launch day will be tough, but it might be a bit easier once the initial chaos dies down. I’ve never paid a scalper myself, and I managed to snag a 3080 at MSRP during the pandemic. Just keep a watchful eye on stock updates and restocks!
Honestly, my answer is just a flat-out no. You don’t really need a bot if you can keep track of stock yourself.
I don’t think the prices will go up as everyone says. They might actually lower the price on the non-XT model later on. Companies usually want most people to invest in the higher-end product, which in this case is the XT. It’s just clever marketing strategy. Plus, I’m skeptical about Trump tariffs affecting prices in the EU. Seems a bit far-fetched!
That’s an interesting take! Some claims suggest that AMD’s rebate could end soon, and tariffs might be coming, leading to price hikes. I think it’s good to keep an eye on market trends.
Straight to the point! I appreciate that.
