I’ve been wondering if Harpies actually have any males. If they do exist, are they similar to the Mithra from Final Fantasy 11, who keep their men hidden due to critically low male birth rates? I haven’t seen a single male Harpy around, so I’m curious about how this works in their lore.

Nope, Harpies are entirely female. In both mythology and WoW, there’s never any mention of males. They either reproduce asexually or, like in myths, capture men to help with reproduction.
No males, huh? Some say they breed with Ogres, but where are all the female Ogres then?
But wait, what about Harpie’s Brother? Some folks say it’s just Sky Scout, but I totally think it refers to Harpie’s Brother! Seems kinda odd if they’re all female, right?
Based on the lore, there haven’t been any reports of male Harpies. The rumors are that they don’t have males and instead might kidnap men from other races to force them to reproduce. Kind of dark, right?
According to some sources, males of this race simply don’t exist. The lore suggests they prey on men from other species for reproduction. So yeah, no confirmed male Harpies anywhere!
Crossbreeding would be quite unrealistic since DNA can be unstable. If even a tiny mistake happens, you could end up with a total disaster.
