Has anyone out there actually managed to defeat Fulgrim in his demon form and send him packing? I know Mortarion, Magnus, and Angron have all been banished, which caused some serious chaos for their respective legions—think massive mutations and some pretty intense realizations for the marines during the Heresy. So, if Fulgrim was ever banished, would that have sent the Emperor’s Children into some kind of strange trance-like state? It’s just something I’ve never really come across in any novels or codex material, and I’m curious about what happened with him!

From what I remember, Fulgrim didn’t actually get banished. Instead, he just kind of peaced out, just like the Emperor’s Children did during the Siege of Terra. They were busy doing some pretty awful stuff, like turning people into stimm drugs. As for the snake guy, he got into it with Bobby G during the Scouring and even dealt him a pretty nasty wound that put him into stasis, but then he was off having a good time in the Palace of Pleasure. Honestly, I liked pre-fall Fulgrim way better; he was a solid character.
I’ve heard some people say Rogal Dorn managed to ‘banish’ him, along with some lesser known characters like Rylanor, but that’s not really the case. Fulgrim didn’t mind the whole thing at all, and it definitely had no real impact on the Emperor’s Children. I think he just decided to split when things got dicey.
Yeah, but technically, Dorn didn’t banish him. He just frustrated him enough that Fulgrim turned all snakey and thought his legion had it under control before he took off.
