I’m a player around Platinum to Diamond rank in 2v2, and I’ve been facing a lot of toxic players and AFK teammates. It’s so frustrating when I find myself in a situation where it’s practically 3v1, and I feel like I have to leave the game. But when I do, I end up with a penalty timer, which feels totally pointless. I just received a 5-minute ban for leaving, and it makes me want to quit the game altogether. I can’t even manage to play a few normal matches in a row without getting paired with someone who trash talks, goes AFK, or intentionally scores on their own team. I really wish this whole situation could be improved.

Hey, I get your struggle! It’s tough to deal with toxic players and AFK teammates, especially when you’re trying to climb the ranks. It’s probably best to report them and keep playing. Even if things are rough, at least you can say you gave it your all. Don’t let them bring you down too much!
Right! It’s frustrating but try to shake off those bad matches and keep pushing forward.
I feel you on this one. Solo queuing can be a nightmare with how unpredictable people can be. Just stay positive and try to enjoy the game despite the frustration. Sometimes all you can do is keep your head up and focus on your own gameplay.
True! It’s definitely not worth it to rage over things you can’t control.
Thanks, I appreciate that! Just hoping it gets better.
I’ve been there too! Sometimes players just give up too easily. The toxicity can really ruin the experience, but don’t let it get to you. I’ve had games with terrible teammates, but I’ve also had some really fun matches, so it balances out a bit.
But yeah, it’s a team game, and everyone should work together. It’s frustrating to see teammates throw in the towel.
Exactly! Just keep pushing through. One good game can change your mood.
Not a solution, but I started using another account when I get those ban timers. I didn’t want to smurf, but it helped me deal with this stuff without losing my main rank all the time.
Interesting idea! Maybe I’ll give that a try if things don’t improve.
Smart move! Just do what works for you.
Totally agree! Just focus on your own game, and maybe you’ll even get some wins despite the bad teammates.
