I’m wondering if the TED dynamite could be tweaked to have health. Like, if it takes damage from another explosion or a bullet, it would explode immediately instead of waiting for the timer. Right now it has a programmable timer, but it doesn’t seem to react to other damage. Would it be possible to make it detonate on impact or when hit by projectiles?

I’d love a sticky dynamite with a no-timer mode that you could blow up instantly if it takes damage or gets hit by an explosion. That would make it way more tactical and fun to mess around with, especially in those tight situations where you want to chain explosions on purpose.
Typically, explosives in games do trigger on impact or when hit, but it sounds like the TED dynamite in this game doesn’t respond that way right now. So it just sticks around until the timer runs out regardless of damage. That’s probably how the developers set it up to avoid chain reactions or to balance it out.
Yeah, that makes sense. Just thought it would be cool if it was more reactive like that.
