Hey everyone, I’ve been wondering if Rockstar Games is considering a VR version of GTA V. There are a few points that make me think this could be a possibility: First, they just acquired Video Games Deluxe, a studio known for VR work, like LA Noire’s VR cases. Second, they previously collaborated with Meta on a VR version of GTA San Andreas, though that seems to have been shelved. Plus, GTA V already has a solid first-person mode with detailed interiors and interactions, which would make it easier to transition to VR. And let’s not forget the earlier GTA V VR mod that Rockstar took down—definitely shows the interest and potential there! However, there are challenges, like the split player base in GTA Online and the technical demands of VR. I’d love to hear your thoughts—is there any chance we’re going to see GTA V in VR, or am I just dreaming?

Honestly, I doubt it will happen. The demand for VR adaptations is there, but Rockstar seems focused on other projects. They barely managed a decent remaster for the older trilogy, so I can’t see them diving into VR anytime soon. Plus, with the way the market is, it’s unlikely they’ll prioritize it over their mainline titles.
