I’ve got a decent understanding of 40k lore and the Horus Heresy, but there’s still so much to learn—sorry if this has been talked about before! Do you think there’s a chance that Bjorn might meet one of the returning primarchs? I realize he’s not often awakened, and the communication lines within the Imperium are pretty tangled right now, which could make a meeting unlikely. But, it’s Warhammer 40k, anything can happen! If they do meet, do you think Guilliman or the Lion would recognize Bjorn? Would they be interested in hearing his stories? I’m not too familiar with how Dante’s interaction with the primarchs went, so I’m curious about how this might play out. Also, could Bjorn’s next appearance coincide with Russ’s return?

Guilliman met Dante after saving Baal from the Tyranids and made him the protector of Imperium Nihilus. While I think Guilliman would recognize Bjorn from before, I’m not sure their interaction would be memorable. But I do believe Bjorn will play a significant role once Russ returns.
It’s probably unlikely that most Primarchs would recognize Bjorn beyond just his reputation. From what I’ve gathered, Bjorn once joked that the Emperor knew him, but who knows! I feel like the real chance for Bjorn to interact with a Primarch might only come when Russ is back. Spoiler alert: it could end badly for him. Also, on the topic of storytelling, I doubt the Primarchs would have the time or desire to hear a Dreadnought’s tales, but both Lion and Guilliman might get nostalgic about Russ and want to catch up on some history.
I’m sure the Lion at least knows Bjorn is still alive. There’s no way the Dark Angels haven’t briefed him on important figures in the Imperium, and Bjorn is definitely amongst them. A chat between Bjorn and the Lion would be epic!
Guilliman definitely knows who Bjorn is from his readings; he likely had some knowledge of him before the Heresy. As for the Lion, he probably knows of Bjorn since he was close to Russ. Imagine a conversation between them—Bjorn could fill him in on everything that’s happened during his long sleep!
There was actually an opportunity for Bjorn to meet Guilliman in ‘The Wolftime,’ but he totally passed because he just doesn’t like him that much—called him the ‘Legion-breaker’ and sent him packing! I think Bjorn might agree to meet the Lion, though. Even with the history between their chapters, Russ had a certain respect for the Lion after the Heresy.
