I’ve been thinking about how Diablo 4’s gear and loot system might benefit from having Magic Find as a stat. Right now, most players just chase raw power — stuff like damage, survivability, and cooldown reduction. What if Magic Find was a thing, though? It could add depth by letting players trade some DPS or defense for better chances at rare or legendary loot. Kind of like how movement speed influences farming builds, Magic Find could give us a cool reason to mix up gear choices. Plus, it might help tackle power creep, since not everyone would just stack damage but instead balance efficiency and loot hunting. What do you all think — could Magic Find spice up the game?

Honestly, I don’t see Magic Find working well right now. Legends and uniques drop pretty frequently already, so adding Magic Find might not change much unless Blizzard drastically lowers drop rates to compensate. If drop rates stay the same, stacking damage to farm faster just remains the go-to strategy, making Magic Find kind of pointless.
Maybe Magic Find could specifically affect rarer drops like ancestral, unique, and mythic items? I feel like those don’t drop often enough for me, so boosting chances for those could be interesting.
