I’m looking to upgrade my CPU and wondering if the i5-14600K is a smart choice compared to my current i5-9400F. My main priorities are getting a good bang for my buck (ideally around 200 euros) and pairing it with a motherboard that supports DDR4 RAM, since I just bought four 8GB sticks at 3200MHz. Right now, I’m leaning towards the i5-14600K, but I’m unsure if it will work optimally with my RAM setup, so I’d appreciate any insights!

If you’re getting a good price on the i5-14600K and plan to stick with it for a while, like until the AM6 socket comes out, then it’s a solid pick! Just make sure your motherboard is compatible and can utilize all that DDR4 RAM you have.
The i5-14600K is definitely a great option, but it would help to know what you primarily use your computer for. If it’s just basic tasks like spreadsheets and browsing, you might not need such a powerful CPU. But for gaming and content creation, the 14600K shines, just keep an eye on potential voltage issues—I’ve heard some reports on that.
I mainly game, like some editing and Blender work too! I have a 3060 Ti and a 750W PSU, so I think I should be good for the upgrade.
