I’m planning to create a wood elf character focused on being a thief in my game. My main weapon will be a bow, but I’ll also use a dagger occasionally. I’m interested in illusion and alteration magic, with a few restoration spells thrown in. Sneaking, picking pockets, and stealing are my favorite gameplay elements. I’m feeling a bit stuck on what major skills I should pick. I was thinking of focusing on Speed and Agility as my favored attributes. I’m playing the Remastered version, by the way. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Honestly, you’ve got a solid idea for your skills. You’re right on track. Just focus on what feels fun to you. Some people suggest not overdoing the Sneak since you’ll be using it all the time, but as long as you enjoy it, go for it!
For your build, I recommend focusing on Sneak, Marksman, Light Armor, Acrobatics, Illusion, Alteration, and either Blade or Restoration. These skills will really complement your style of playing as a stealthy archer. Light Armor will help keep you quick and nimble. If you feel like you’ll rely heavily on your sneak skills, you might even consider dropping Light Armor for a more focused approach!
Yeah, dropping Light Armor could work well for you. With Sneak as a primary, you might find you can avoid hits altogether.
Totally! As long as you’re having fun with the mechanics, prioritize what fits your playstyle. It’s your adventure!
