I recently bought the base version of the game along with the Gold Road DLC, but I ran into a frustrating issue right from the start. When I launched the game, it wouldn’t let me create an account, displaying a message that said, “email already in use.” This is strange because I just made the email address five minutes ago specifically for this. I reached out to Support, but their responses have been unhelpful, just looping me through the same questions without offering any real solutions. I’ve done some digging and apparently, several others are facing the same problem without any resolution. It really makes me wary of buying from them again—if their support is like this for account issues, how might it be for other problems? Any advice would be appreciated!

That sounds really strange! Did you try the ‘forgot password’ option? Sometimes it can be a mix-up with the email you used. If you’ve purchased from a dubious third-party, there’s a chance they might be trying to scam you by claiming your email. Would be best to check your account recovery options, and if those fail, keep pushing Support for help. Hope you get this sorted soon!
Where did you buy the game from? If it was through a reseller, there’s a chance someone else might have used your email address first, which could explain the error. You should try resetting your password too! Seems odd that you’d be able to purchase without creating an account first, though. Let me know!
I’ve seen a lot of customer support these days rely heavily on automation, so it might just take some persistence on your part to get through. Keep responding to your ticket, and eventually, they should connect you with someone who can help resolve your issue. I’ve successfully navigated their processes a few times with patience!
Yeah, I wish I could say the same. I’ve submitted dozens of tickets with no responses, and when I did get feedback, it was never useful. It’s incredibly frustrating when bugs just linger and no one seems to care about fixing them.
Definitely try the password recovery! It’s worth a shot. You might find you just need to reset things. And yeah, avoid third-party sellers unless you really trust them.
