I see that it is possible to get flying mounts in this game. Is there any point in trying to override the Tallnecks when it is possible to fly to the top of them or is there something stopping you from flying to the Tallnecks?

I am not sure if there is a strict block on gliding down on top of them instead of solving the puzzle normally. There is one Tallneck in particular that can only be overridden by flying to the top of it. I am assuming that it is also possible to fly on top of the others too.
