Hey everyone! I’m on the lookout for some engaging logic puzzle games to play on my Steam Deck. Just to clarify, I’m not interested in puzzle games that involve platforming or spatial challenges, like manipulating shapes into place or Sokoban games. I’ve already played some titles like Baba is You, Picross, Minesweeper, Hexcells, and RoGlass, and I’m seeking alternatives that offer straightforward problem-solving without an extensive narrative. I used to enjoy Professor Layton games, but I’m in the mood for puzzles without the story elements. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You might want to try out Void Stranger. It’s a sokoban game like Baba Is You, but it focuses more on manipulating rules rather than just sliding blocks into place. It’s got some solid logical challenges that don’t lean too heavily on visuospatial skills.
What about Hitman? It’s not your traditional puzzle game, but you can approach each hit like a puzzle, planning out different ways to take down your target. It’s strategic and involves a lot of foresight!
Check out Strange Horticulture! It’s got some unique puzzles, and I think you’d find it intriguing. You might also enjoy A Little to the Left or some of the farming puzzle games like Instant/Floating Island Farmer.
Yeah, I know what you mean! Baba Is You does have those sokoban aspects, but it leans more toward thinking outside the box with the rules, which is pretty fun.
