I’ve been trying to remember the name of this old 3D first-person fantasy RPG that I played ages ago, but I’m drawing a blank on both the title and the developer. The game featured illusory walls and chest mimics, and there was a memorable troll section where they included several traps in a row. I know it’s not King’s Field, but it’s quite similar and from around the same era. Can anyone help me figure out which game I’m describing? This has been on my mind all day!

You might want to check out Ultima Underworld! It came out during the early 90s, right around the same time as King’s Field. It has a lot of those classic RPG elements you’re describing, with a focus on exploration and puzzle-solving.
