I recently got involved with a raid group that seems to be connected to another one. They were farming the bot, and I finally managed to snag the Vulcan helmet plan (still need some mods for it). This got me thinking: has anyone out there actually attempted to do the entire Gleaming Depths raid using this ‘glitch’ to bring in more players? Personally, I believe the raid could work well with 8 players, but coming from DCUO, that’s just my experience talking!

Yeah, it is possible to run the raid with 8 people, but it gets really awkward. If you die, you can only spectate your own team, and if everyone wipes, you end up black-screened since you won’t see the other team’s action. So, if you aren’t in a party chat, it can be hard to know if someone crashed or if things are just messy.
Yeah, using that exploit to fit more players in seems like it could really break the balance. With 8 players, the raid would be way too easy. I really don’t think it’s a fair way to go about it.
I hear you! I’ve actually been in raids with 4 teams before, and it was such a joke. Each round was taken care of in seconds. Ended up not sticking around for long.
That sounds exactly like what happened to us. After about three rounds with the bot, our main DPS trio went down, and the rest of us jumped in to wipe, but one player was hiding behind a column and missed the memo!
