Can You Actually Ride Ghasts in Minecraft?

I’ve been hearing about rideable ghasts in Minecraft and I’m really curious if they’re real or just a mod thing. Can someone confirm if this feature actually exists? Also, is it currently available in the Bedrock Edition, or is it only coming in a future update? Would love to know how to try it out if possible!

Right now, you won’t find rideable ghasts in the regular game versions. They’re in the snapshot builds for Java Edition and there’s a preview available on Bedrock if you want to test it early. Just keep in mind these are still in development and not part of the official release yet.

They’re definitely real but not officially out yet. The updates with rideable ghasts are planned for this summer, so we just have to wait a bit longer for the full release.

Yep, rideable ghasts are legit! They were officially announced at Minecraft Live. The feature isn’t fully released yet though — it’s coming in the big summer update.
