Hey everyone! I’m currently gaming at 1080p, but I just stumbled upon a deal for a 1440p monitor. I’d love to know if my PC can run games smoothly at 1440p with stable frame rates. I’m planning to play titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2, The Witcher series, The Last of Us 1 and 2, God of War, Black Myth, and some shooters like Fortnite or Marvel Rivals. Here are my specs:
– RTX 3060 12GB
– Ryzen 5 5600G
– 32GB DDR4 RAM
I watched a benchmark on YouTube and it looks like most games were hitting over 70fps, so I’m feeling hopeful!

What do you mean by “stable frames”? With your 3060, you might hit around 60fps, but it could be a bit lower depending on the game. Just keep that in mind when you’re adjusting your settings.
You might be able to run some games at QHD, but it could depend on your settings. When you say “stable frames,” that’s a bit subjective, you might want to check benchmarks with similar setups. Some games could run well, but others might struggle at that resolution.
Thanks for the tip! I found a benchmark video to compare my setup!
Honestly, I don’t think it’s going to handle it well. You might want to consider upgrading your GPU for a smoother experience.
You might want to try NVIDIA’s Super Resolution in your settings to simulate how your PC might perform at higher resolutions. Just a heads up, though, the RTX 3060 really leans more towards 1080p performance.
Thanks for letting me know! I wasn’t aware of that feature!
By stable frames, I mean I’d like to stay above 60fps without dips.
