Hey everyone! I’m currently using a 24-inch 1080p monitor at 165Hz, but I’m thinking about upgrading to a 1440p 180Hz Pixio pink monitor. I mainly play games like Valorant, Overwatch, Fortnite, and Monster Hunter World. I have an 8GB 4060 Ti, and I’m wondering if it can handle 1440p gaming, or if I’ll need to get a different GPU. I’ve been wanting a 1080p monitor, but the options for pink ones are pretty limited. Also, I usually play on high settings rather than ultra, especially in games like Call of Duty and Genshin Impact. Any thoughts?

You can test it out now! Use the Nvidia Control Panel to enable the 1440p option under DSR factors and see how it performs with your current setup. Just make sure the game is in full screen mode for accurate results. If it runs fine, you’ll be good to go!
Your 4060 Ti should be able to manage 1440p in those games, but it might struggle a bit with Monster Hunter World. You’ll likely need to adjust some settings for the best performance, especially if you prefer high settings.
Yeah, you can definitely run those games at 1440p, just tweak the settings a bit. Overwatch, Valorant, and Fortnite should be easy, but Monster Hunter World might not run as smoothly.
For real, MHW is a demanding one on any setup!
What about Call of Duty? I usually run that on high too.
