Hey everyone! I just wrapped up my first playthrough of the game and I’m thinking about diving in for a second time with my Tav. I want to keep the same name, but I’m a little worried about whether that could mess with my save files or anything. Has anyone tried this before?

It won’t cause any issues. Just a heads up though: if you have multiple playthroughs, it gets a bit tricky identifying which save belongs to which Tav when loading manually. But as long as you keep an eye on the timestamps, you should be good!
I’ve actually done this four times with my Tav/Durge, and everything saved just fine. The game adds some unique identifiers to the names behind the scenes, so you’re in the clear!
No problem at all! It’s a separate save file for each playthrough, so you shouldn’t run into any issues using the same name. Just go for it!
I’ve got so many playthroughs all sharing the same name! The game adds a random key at the end to help differentiate them. You can absolutely use the same name without worry.
No need to stress about it! The saves are segregated by playthrough, so feel free to stick with your Tav’s name.
