I’m planning to take my new PlayStation Portal with me on my trip from the US to Georgia this summer. Since Georgia isn’t one of the countries where PlayStation Plus Premium is officially supported, I’m curious if I’ll still be able to stream games there. Does anyone have experience or advice on how this might work? Thanks in advance!

You can totally use your portal as long as you’ve got a US account and a solid internet connection. Just make sure your connection speed is up to scratch, otherwise, it could be a bit of a pain.
Sadly, I don’t think you’ll be able to stream directly from Georgia since it’s not supported. You might want to look into setting up a VPN to make it appear as if you’re accessing it from the US, though I haven’t tried this myself.
From what I understand, it doesn’t really matter where you are traveling. If your PS Plus account is set up in a country where streaming is supported (like the US), you should be good to go. The main hitch might be finding a decent connection while you’re abroad. Good luck with the travels!
I’ve cloud streamed from Spain without any problems, even though it’s not always on the list of supported places. I think as long as your account is still tied to a country that allows it, you should be okay. Having reliable WiFi is key, though!
Actually, the streaming won’t work if you can’t connect to servers from unsupported regions, so you might face issues.
