Hey everyone! I have a kind of random question – if I were to get a USB stick filled with games, would the Steam Deck be able to read it? I’ve seen it has a USB port, but I’m not quite sure if it works for sticks. Any thoughts?

Just a heads up, if you’re using the USB-C port without a dock, it’s also the charging port. So you’ll be running out of power pretty quickly. Honestly, using the microSD slot is the way to go for a hassle-free experience!
The Steam Deck has a USB-C port. You could use a USB stick with a USB-C adapter, or better yet, just go for a microSD card to store your games! It’s a lot easier and faster. Just remember, the Steam Deck is like a full PC, so it can do pretty much everything a regular computer can!
Also, USB sticks can be kinda slow, especially for gaming. If you’re looking for external storage, an SSD would be a much better choice.
Thanks for the tip! I’m not too savvy with these things—any recommendations for tutorials on moving games from a USB to a microSD?
