I’m feeling a bit let down because I can’t seem to use a non-PlayStation joystick for player two on my PS5. I understand that consoles tend to keep everything locked to their ecosystem to push their own products, but I was hoping to play Overcooked with my girlfriend using my Logitech F710. Unfortunately, it looks like only PS5 controllers are supported. Are there any ways to connect a non-PS5 joystick for local multiplayer without breaking the bank on a new controller?

Think about it this way: how much do you spend on a night out? Buying a second controller can lead to a lot of fun gaming nights together!
You might want to check out adapters from brands like Brook or Mayflash, but they can run you around $60. Honestly, for that price, you might as well grab another DualSense controller instead!
Yeah, exactly! I tried adapting my old controls too, but the price of these adapters is pretty close to just getting another official controller.
I get that, but it’s frustrating to be forced into buying a specific type of controller when I already have a couple that work just fine on PC!
